Access Health - October 1, 2016

Most of us will never understand or even be able to comprehend what goes on while are troops are stationed over seas defending our country.  Unfortunately for many, the battle never completely ends in their own minds.  Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) hinders a large number of veterans who return from war time services through the military; not only having an affect on their own well being, but those they love as well.
The formation of the Brady Oberg Legacy Foundation started last year - a non-profit organization dedicated to serving those who have served us, by making you aware of PTSD and its effects, has been busy the last twelve months and here to tell us about it is Katie Oberg.

Although it's been said, many times, many ways - holiday snacking can get out of hand.  We all like to indulge during the holiday season and sometimes it can get to the point where we don't know where and when to stop.  Some may get sick of hearing about it, others want some different points of view on how to handle the holiday food binge we all get sucked into.  This week's holiday edition of the Access Health program Doug Ingoldsby ("The Vitamin Guy") talks with Kurt Philion about holiday snacking and how to curve some of those tendencies this time of year.
