City of Hill City chooses Logo, discusses Police coverage area at Special Meeting

(Hill City, MN) — The City of Hill City Council held a special meeting this past Thursday to provide updates on the intersection of Highway 169/200, the City Logo, discuss the Hill City Police Coverage area, and more.
Hill City Mayor Dan Kingsley spoke to us about the meeting including the closure of the Hill City Campground for the season.
The Intersections of Highway 169/200 will soon be changing with traffic control signs.
A new city logo was decided at the meeting.
The Council also approved a Technology Use Policy and Assignment, updated language for the Snowplow Policy, approved purchases from CARES Act Funds. Actions were taken on raising the retirement amount for the Fire Relief Association.
Actions were also taken on behalf of the Hill City Police Department.
The City of Hill City Council will next be meeting on Monday, October 27th from the Hill City Fire Hall.
