(Brainerd, MN) — Central Lakes College is welcoming in another faculty member as their new Director of the Ag & Energy Center and Farm Business Management.
Cory Detloff replaces Keith Olander, who has been in the role since 2014. Olander will be transitioning to the role of Executive Director of AgCentric and Agricultural Partnerships, which will require him to work more on a statewide scale to serve agriculture education.
Detloff will also be overseeing CLC Farm Business Management. This is a pool of seven faculty who work with over 250 farmers in the region, which also extends into the Arrowhead.
The CLC Ag & Energy Center operates around 2,000 acres under research and crop production with drops including corn, soybeans, barley, and edible beans. Farm Business Management centers around assisting farm families in meeting their business and personal goals through quality farm records and sound business decisions.
