Nisswa Council Gives Green Light to “City of Lights,” Renames Road from October 21 Meeting

The city of Nisswa held a regular council meeting on Wednesday, October 20. The meeting was rather short and consisted mostly of regular business.

The council deliberated over whether or not to approve closing Main Street for their City of Lights event, citing some mixed feedback. Ultimately, they voted unanimously to approve.

Another item on the agenda was the recommendation from the Public Works Committee to rename Airport Road to Hazelwood Drive South, which was also unanimously approved.
