Megan Workman hopes to draw families, help Seniors at Aitkin Mayor

(Aitkin, MN) — Aitkin Mayor-elect Megan Workman has a vision for a bright future for families and our established senior population. We had the opportunity to speak with Workman about her initial feelings going into office and what her early plans are for the community that she has raised her family in.

Workman has ideas in place of helping keep Aitkin sustainable with COVID-19 persisting.

Attracting businesses to Aitkin is also a high priority.

Even in the COVID-19 Pandemic, Workman says supporting Local Businesses also supports your neighbors in more ways than one.

Workman’s ultimate goals include City improvements to attract families in establishing lives and making Senior Citizens proud of the community.

Workman will be sworn in as Mayor of Aitkin in January to serve a 4 year term.
