Nisswa City of Lights is Now a Drive-Thru Event

The annual Nisswa City of Lights festival will now be a drive-thru event on Friday, November 27th.

The City of Nisswa is inviting people to drive through town at their leisure and check out the light displays or visit Santa and Mrs. Claus in the First Western Bank and Trust drive-thru from 5 – 7pm. Stores will remain open for shopping and fireworks will start at 7:30pm.

On Saturday, November 28th, shoppers are encouraged to shop local for Small Business Saturday, hunt for the hidden medallion, and win prize drawings at the Nisswa Chamber of Commerce.

Shoppers will qualify to access deals at several participating retailers with this year’s $5 City of Lights buttons, and have a chance to win a two-night stay at Quarterdeck Resort on Gull Lake.

To enter, purchases must be made at participating businesses and shoppers must drop off their receipt at the Nisswa Chamber of Commerce between 10am and 5pm that Saturday, November 28th. The drawing will be at 5pm and those who have entered do not need to be present to win.
