City of Hill City Council closing in on new City Clerk

(Hill City, MN) — The City of Hill City Council held their regular meeting to review updates on the opening with the City Clerk positions and the 2020 Assessment to property taxes from this past Tuesday.

Hill City Mayor Dan Kinglsey helped us recap the meeting which began with a Council Work Session.

Old Business of the Personnel Policy and COVID-19 updates for Hill City were discussed.

Under New Business, the Council approved the 2020 Assessment to property taxes.

The City of Hill City also approved a Audit Engagement letter to Clasen, Stegner, & Schiessl CPAs, Ltd, and also tabled the Police Performance Discussion to a later date. The City Clerk Position will soon be filled with two candidates set to be interviewed.

The Truth and Taxation Meeting will be on Tuesday, December 8th at 6pm. The Council will also be debuting the new City logo in the Hill City School YearBook.

The City of Hill City Council will have their next regular meeting on Tuesday, December 8th  beginning at 7pm from the Hill City Fire Hall.
