Brainerd, MN — Matt Kilian, President of the Brainerd Lakes Chamber of Commerce, came on to the R&J Lakes Area Morning Show to discuss a new program being put on this year. Cuisine Cash comes into play now as a reaction to restrictions that came down in late November.
The support for local businesses has been outstanding thus far.
Kilian encouraged local shoppers to continue that momentum. As he explained, it’s a win-win-win, as, for the first 1,000 certificates sold, the Initiative Foundation will donate $5 each to Bridges of Hope to help families in need. Another anonymous donor offered to match the same amount for the next 500 sold.
You can get online and shop, and help support those local establishments hindered by the mandated restrictions.
