(Aitkin, MN) — The Aitkin Public School Board held a Work Session last Monday to provide an update on COVID-19 as Grades 4-12 are well into Distance Learning until January 15th.
Superintendent Dan Stifter spoke on early concerns of connectivity for students in hard-to-reach areas of the District where broadband internet is hard to come by.
Those connectivity issues have also resulted in some difficulty in class participation.
Students and staff are also getting creative in building on learning opportunities.
