Jenkins Mayor Recaps First Council Meeting of 2021
(JENKINS, MN) — The city of Jenkins held its first council meeting of 2021 on Monday, January 11. We spoke with Mayor Jon Lubke to hear how it went.
Lubke said the meeting was short, but first talked about how the council welcomed in a new member, Kim Bachmann, as all officials were sworn in to start the new term.
For regular business, the city continued to move forward in the application process for the Small Cities Development Program, which has been in the works for a few months for the city of Jenkins.
Lubke wrapped up by talking about some miscellaneous business taken care of at the meeting, such as the city renewing its membership with BLAEDC, online training with the League of Minnesota Cities, and more.
We thank Mayor Lubke for his time. Our full interview with him may be found below.
