(Crosby, MN) — Family Physician and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Robert Westin of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby was kind enough to give us an update on the COVID-19 Pandemic from CRMC’s perspective. Dr. Westin spoke about the process of the two dose vaccines that CRMC has been dispensing to those eligible in the early Phases.
Dr. Westin also continues to implore the public about the basic defenses of wearing a mask, social distancing, washing hands, etc.
This also still rings true once people are vaccinated.
Dr. Westin also talked out his journey with any side effects from the two vaccines he has received and just because you are vaccinated, that does not mean you still can’t get sick.
In all, Dr. Westin urges patience as the vaccine rollout continues and expected results will take time to hopefully eradicate COVID-19.
Dr. Robert Westin also spoke about vaccine storage, his role as Chief Medical Officer, recent improvements with hospitalizations, treatments, and much more.
