International Falls update with Mayor Harley Droba

International Falls – International Falls Mayor Harley Droba joined The Morning Show on Monday to review the month of January, which saw new COVID advancements in the borderland.
Approaching the pandemic’s one-year mark, Mayor Droba has noticed International Falls citizens have settled in, and become more compliant with COVID protocols.
COVID vaccines have become available through the Koochiching Health Department, but Droba says, there has been some level of frustration with the rollout.
According to Droba, one silver lining of the past year has been the theme of neighbors helping neighbors.
At their previous meeting, the International Falls City Council moved to finalize the hiring of a fire marshal, sparking controversy. Mayor Droba explained the duties the new marshal will take on.
