Norman County EDA Small Business Assistance Grants
Ada, MN — There is help available for Norman County businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and specifically those who lost revenue due to Governor Walz’s executive orders. The Norman County EDA has $250,000 available through their Small Business Assistance Grant Program. Norman County Board Chair and EDA member LeeAnn Halls says it’s a very simple and straightforward application process.
Hall says the previous CARES grants went well and they were able to dish out nearly half a million dollars to support local businesses. However, this time around she encourages businesses to not be timid when it comes to their requests.
Even though restrictions have loosened and there is a new hope with the vaccine being distributed, Hall says businesses are still struggling and continues to ask people to support their local establishments.
Applications and complete grant information is available on the Norman County website, www.co.norman.mn.us. Deadline to apply is February 18th.
