Traill County Vaccination Clinic in Hillsboro Goes Well
Hillsboro, ND — This past Monday, Traill District Health in conjunction with Sanford Health – Hillsboro held their 2nd joint COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Hillsboro Armory. Their first vaccination clinic was reserved for health care workers and first responders, but this was the first clinic open to public age 75 or older. Brenda Stallman, Traill-Steele District Health Coordinator, says they were able to successfully vaccinate over 100 people at the event.
As the weeks go on, Traill District Health is hoping to include more and more people in their vaccination clinics with the next group being 65 and older. Stallman says they often get short notice about vaccination availability, but the state is doing a great job at getting those vaccinations distributed very quickly and efficiently.
While there is reason to optimistic now that vaccinations are being rolled out, Stallman adds there is also reason to be nervous coming up on Super Bowl weekend.
Please follow the Traill-Steele Joint Information Facebook page for more information regarding future vaccination clinics and COVID-19 information.
