Spring weather brings new programs to Aitkin County CARE

(Aitkin, MN) — As the weather continues to warm up with the prospect of Spring in the Lakes Area, Aitkin County CARE Executive Director Lynn Jacobs is more than excited to keep up the hard work of respite workers.
Jacobs mentioned that even as the Pandemic continues to hold back the full range of their services for Senior Citizens and Disabled Adults, they are still helpful programs running.
After being cooped up with the winter weather and COVID-19 restrictions, Aitkin County CARE is bringing back beloved programs next week.
CARE is also helping their clients stay active with a new program.
Jacobs says CARE has new care and respite workers trained and ready to home visits to clients.
