Lake Park, MN — The Lake Park-Audubon School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, March 22nd. At the meeting, the board did have a lot of discussion regarding their learning model moving forward. Lake Park-Audubon Superintendent Dr. Paula Henry says the board approved continuing with their current model through the month of April, where students are in the building most of the week.

Superintendent Henry also noted that they had discussions about where the district sits with their long-term planning compared to Governor Walz’s Due North Education plan.

And a new offering for this summer, the Lake Park-Audubon School District will be offering additional staff development opportunities for their teachers.

Superintendent Henry also stated that they are excited to bring back more in-person activities, concerts, and celebrations as they close out the year.

The Lake Park-Audubon School Board is also in the process of finding a replacement for Superintendent Dr. Henry, who is stepping down at the end of the year. The board is expected to approve a candidate by the end of April.
