Mahnomen Summer School to Begin in June at Full Capacity
Mahnomen, MN — It’ll be almost like class was never out of session at the Mahnomen School this summer. The district announced that they will be running a summer STEAM camp for eight weeks this summer to help students in Kindergarten through 8th grade get caught up and continue learning. Mahnomen Superintendent Jeff Bisek says the response from families has been outstanding and they’ve already reached their capacity limit of 160 students.
Running a summer program of this size, which includes transportation, meals, and even field trips, will be no easy undertaking. However, Bisek gives credit to his staff for their willingness to step up and take part.
The Mahnomen Summer STEAM program will begin June 7th and end July 29th.
