Brainerd Mayor Talks 150th Anniversary, 4th Street Maintenance, and More from April 19 Council Meeting

(BRAINERD, MN) — The city of Brainerd held its second council meeting of the month of April this week, so we spoke with Mayor Dave Badeaux to get the latest from him.

The city of Brainerd will be celebrating its 150th anniversary in September of this year, and Badeaux says the city is already preparing for the festivities.

He also provided an update on the city’s Name-a-Snowplow initiative, as the city has now provided a list of finalists for their equipment.

Badeaux then mentioned some road work coming to 4th Street in Brainerd, and how things will be looking in the coming weeks.

Finally, Badeaux reminded everyone that the city will begin to ramp up inspections soon, so the time has come to ensure that everyone is abiding by the city’s codes.
