Lake Park-Audubon School to Host Facility Planning Open House
Audubon, MN — The Lake Park-Audubon School District will be hosting both an in-person and virtual open house next week to learn about the facility planning progress. The school board is eyeing going to the voters this fall with a building referendum that would potentially invest up to $30 million into their Elementary building in Audubon. The in-person open house will take place on Monday, May 3rd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the Elementary gymnasium. Lake Park-Audubon Superintendent Dr. Paula Henry says this open house will allow the public to get a better grasp on the proposed referendum.
Superintendent Henry says by allowing the public into the aging school for this open house, it also provides them with an up-close look at why the school board may pursue a referendum this fall.
And Henry says for those who don’t feel comfortable or are unable to participate in the in-person open house, there will be a virtual option on Tuesday, May 4th at noon.
The Zoom link will me available on the Lake Park-Audubon School website.
