Garrison Bay Lake Lions award scholarships to Aitkin, C-I Seniors

(Garrison, MN) — The Garrison Bay Lake Lions late last week announced 5 Aitkin and 5 Crosby-Ironton High School Seniors received $1,000 scholarships to be used for furthering their education.

Lion Cathe Piecek presented scholarships to Crosby-Ironton seniors Anna, Carlson, Lily Habighorst, Haylee Hanson, Isabella Sablan, and Breanna Stirewalt. 

Lion Cookie Knopik presented scholarships to Aitkin graduating seniors Madison Buisman, Allison Ehnstrom, Hunter Hills, Owen Miller, and Jordon Rinta. 

Some of the scholarship recipients will also be present at the Garrison Bay Lake Lions annual Swinging for Scholars Golf Tournament at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge on Monday, July 12th. Registration and an entry form can be done by calling 218-678-9090 or contact Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge Golf Course.
