Hill City Council approves return of 4th of July activities, to establish Community Garden at special May 24th meeting

(Hill City, MN) — The City of Hill City Council approved the return of the 4th of July Celebration during a special meeting held Monday, May 24th from the Hill City Community Room.

Hill City Mayor Sean Lathorp spoke about other items including the City producing a bi-yearly newsletter.

The Council did approve 4th of July Festivities which does include a search for vendors.

Approval was also given to finalize City Clean-up Date and the need to close a street and have directional signage.

An update was also given on the clean-up situation for Vicki Olson.

Mayor Lathrop also noted the City of Hill City is working on establishing a community garden.

Enbridge also reached out to the Council with materials to welcome back pipeline workers once their return to work.

The City of Hill City Council is next scheduled to meet on Tuesday, June 8th at 6pm from the Hill City Community Room.
