Graduation ceremonies will look a little more normal this year in comparison to last year for most schools, including at Win-E-Mac. Superintendent Randy Bruer says they have done a lot of advanced planning for graduation which gets underway at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 29th in the Win-E-Mac Gymnasium.
Bruer says after such a chaotic year, everyone is eager to put it behind them.
Sports, curriculum and gender equity are topics generating a lot of interest as the Win-E-Mac school district makes plans in compliance with changing state laws.
Due to skyrocketing lumber prices, the Win-E-Mac high school building trades class did not build a house during this school year as they normally do. This year they built an ice castle instead. They hope to build a house again next year according to Superintendent Randy Bruer.
