CLC Performing Arts announces full summer events schedule

(Brainerd, MN) — Central Lakes College Performing Arts is returning their full summer of events including plays, musicals, concerts, and films. All events will take place outdoors on the summer stage located on the south lawn of the Brainerd campus of Central Lakes College.

Four music concerts under the title of “Homegrown Music Series” will feature acts from Minnesota, Brainerd Community Theatre will have a comedy and a musical, and three family friendly films will all be a part of the Summer Fun.

June 9th will be the kickoff featuring the Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos. Comedy play “The Odd Couple” will run June 22-July 1 on the Brainerd Community Theatre stage. “Divas Through the Decades” will take the stage on July 7th followed by the musical “Xanadu” with performances on July 28-August 5. The Holy Rocka Rollaz make their return on August 11th before the Rusty Crayfish Brass Band closes out the Homegrown Series. The three films that will be screened take place on June 2nd, July 25th, and August 19th.
