Detours to begin June 1st on Highway 210 Crosby project

(Crosby, MN) — Detours begin June 1st for those who travel through the Highway 210 work zone in Crosby and Ironton, as new sidewalks and lanes open in east Crosby.

All lanes, shoulders, parking, and sidewalks will open on Highway 210/East Main Street (Highway 6) in east Crosby between Cross Avenue and Cuyuna Regional Medical Center.

Highway 210/West Main Street (Highway 6) will close between Third Avenue Northwest, at the Highway 210/Highway 6 intersection, and Cross Avenue from June 1st to mid/late June.

Highway 210 will detour 5 city blocks on Cross Avenue South and Second Street Southwest, along Crosby Memorial Park at Serpent Lake. Highway 6 through traffic to detour along Crow Wing County Road 31, through Cuyuna, and County Road 31 back to Highway 6, north of Crosby. Highway 210 truck detour will use Crow Wing County Road 12 or the Deerwood Shortcut, from Riverton to Deerwood.

Sidewalks are now open in downtown Crosby. Pedestrian sidewalk closures with signed detours from west Crosby through Ironton.

Crosby and Ironton is open to all those who live, work, or visit along Highway 210, but changes are to be expected.
