Aitkin City Council meets Monday, June 7th

(Aitkin, MN) — The Aitkin City Council will review proposed ordinances and introduce a new police officer during their first June Meeting on Monday from the Aitkin Public Library Community Room.
The Council looks to approve of Authorizing IRRRB Application & Accept Funds for the Rialto Theatre and the Community Demo/Creamery Lot.
City Administrator Rose Beverly will discuss with the Council on the Use of Drop Box, the Preliminary Official Statement, and the Bond Sale Resolution.
Old Business of the Newton Lot will be opened for discussion by the Council. New Business on the agenda will include the Renaming of the Street Shop, introduction of the new Aitkin Police officer Robert Kniefel, Fit City will be speaking to the Council on proposed disposal bikes by donation. The Council will also review proposed ordinances with an amendment of ATVs and the ordinance of Closing the City Park at dark.
The Aitkin City Council meets at 6pm from the Aitkin Public Library Community Room on Monday, June 7th.
