Aitkin School Board meeting set for June 21st

(Aitkin, MN) — The Aitkin Public School Board will be discussing budgets and contract updates during their regular meeting from the High School Media Center monday night at 7pm.

The Board will be looking to approve Extra-Curricular Assignments, Hirings, and Resignations, the 2021-22 ARCC Contract, the revised list of the Class of 2021, the contract between Northern Pines and Aitkin Public Schools for 2021-22, among other numerous items.

The Board will also review and possibly approve the Fiscal Year 2021 revised budget and preliminary Fiscal Year 2022 and approve the retirement of Special Education Teacher Terry Mehr.

Discussion will also take place on the hiring of an Assistant for the Musical for the Spring of 2022, the District’s Back to School Plan for Fall 2021 and the Capital Project Levy Working Teams. 

The Aitkin Public School Board meets at 7pm tonight from the Aitkin High School Media Center.
