Aitkin County Board of Commissioners to hold regular, HHS, and BAE meetings June 22nd

(Aitkin, MN) — The Aitkin County Board of Commissioners will have multiple meetings Tuesday afternoon from the Aitkin County Government Center Board Room beginning at 2pm.

The Board will meet with Health & Human Services shortly after the beginning of the meeting.

Commissioners will also be seeking approval for Community Corrections Sobriety Court Grant Agreement, a resolution for 2020 Annual Apportionment of Forfeited Tax Sales, and Final Contract Payments for R.C. Habeck, LLC of Wahkon and Northwest Asphalt & Maintenance of Thief River Falls for road work across the county.

Human Resources Director Bobbie Danielson will present Personnel Committee Recommendations and sunset COVID Interim Policy and Preparedness Policy.

Land Commissioner Rich Courtemanche will also give a report of the 2020 FTS Apportionment.

County Engineer John Welle will seek the Board’s approval for awarding a contract and establishing a No Parking Zone for CSAH 11.

Facilities Coordinator Jim Bright will also speak to Commissioners on approval contracts and advertising for bids. 

County Administrator Jessica Seibert will discuss with the Board of setting a Public Hearing Date for the ATV Ordinance.

Following Committee updates by Commissioners, the Board will hold the Board of Appeal & Equalization at 4pm. 

The Aitkin County Board of Commissioners will be meeting starting at 2pm from the Aitkin County Government Center Board Room.
