Norman County East School Board News & Notes from July 21st Meeting
Twin Valley, MN — The Norman County East School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, June 21st. The board approved their 2021-2022 preliminary budget and Long-Term Maintenance Plan at the meeting. Norman County East Superintendent Rob Nudell says so far their budget looks favorable for next year.
The board also approved a number of staffing items, most notably was some changes in the music department, according to Nudell.
Superintendent Nudell also presented the board with the new district Safe Learning Plan. As long as current trends continue, he says the next school year should look pretty normal.
And currently there are students in the building for summer school, which Nudell notes is going well.
The Norman County East School Board also approved the annual MSHSL resolution, approved an amended Sports Medicine Contract with Sanford, and approved donating the former eagle statue to the local museum.
