Brainerd Council Hears Audit Presentation and More from June 21 Council Meeting

(BRAINERD, MN) — The city of Brainerd held its second regular council meeting of the month of June on Monday, so we spoke with Mayor Dave Badeaux to gather the latest info.

Badeaux first mentioned that the city was presented with its 2020 audit and that things looked to be in good shape.

The city also discussed its debt levy, specifically for the year 2022, and Badeaux had more encouraging news to share.

To wrap up, Badeaux talked about the Here for Good farmer’s markets and mentioned that their weekly gatherings have been extended through the fall.
