Lakes Area Music Festival introduces LAMFcast

(Brainerd, MN) — The Lakes Area Music Festival is beginning their series of online lectures and discussions, LAMFcast, to further explore everything from the inner workings of specific pieces to the broad historical context of music culture.

Starting June 30th and running through July 21st, 2021, LAMFcast will be led by newly appointed Artistic Advisor Garrett McQueen and will have sessions taking place Wednesday and Saturday from 10-10:45am CT. LAMFcast will be available through Zoom and Facebook Live, and those wishing to attend are encouraged to participate in a Q&A after each session.

The first discussion on July 30th will feature LAMF artistic directors Scott Lykins and John Taylor Ward highlighting the upcoming festival season.
