McGregor School Board meeting from June 28th

(McGregor, MN) — The McGregor School Board’s regular meeting Monday evening including information from the Aitkin County Land Commission and Nexus on the School Referendum progress from the McGregor High School Library.
Aitkin County Assistant Land Commissioner Dennis Thompson spoke before the Board on the County’s annual apportionment which will benefit the School District.
A representative from Nexus gave a project update on the Referendum School Building project.
The School Board approved donations from the Minnewawa’s Sportsmen’s Club, McGregor Lions Club, and Turner Township totaling $7,100 going towards the Elementary Yearbook, Cheerleaders, and the Big Sandy Water Institute. Approval was also given for the Resignation of part time Occupational Therapist LeAnn Poirier.
Superintendent and Elementary Principal Brad Johnson noted asbestos removal in the building.
The McGregor School Board will hold a Work Session meeting on Monday, July 12th with their Regular Meeting on July 26th, both at 6pm from the High School Library.
