Crosby-Ironton Board of Education discusses CRT, Phase 2 Construction

(Crosby, MN) — The Crosby-Ironton Board of Education continued their talks on Strategic Planning and looked into the use of COVID-19 relief funds during their regular scheduled meeting Monday night.
We recently spoke to Crosby-Ironton Schools Superintendent Dr. Jamie Skjeveland about the District’s decision to light the tennis courts.
Important discussion was also held on Critical Race Theory, Equity, and Cultural Competency.
Construction of Phase 2 of the School Referendum Building Project is moving on schedule, with eyes toward Phase 3.
The Crosby-Ironton Board of Education did approve Maternity Leave for Angie Reinhart, the Resignations of Laura Waters and Amelia Ferrrari, and Hiring of Nicole Doyle and Trevor Rohloff. Approval was also given for the 2021-22 Preliminary Budget, Setting Meal Prices for 2021-22, Activity Fees and Gate Fees for 2021-22, and Facility Use/Rental Feed for 2021-22.
The Board will be meeting again on Monday, July 26th at 6pm from the Forum of the Secondary Building.
