Lakes Area Music Festival announces annual fundraisers

(Brainerd, MN) — The Lakes Area Music Festival will be making its debut in the Gichi-Ziibi Center for the Performing Arts in Brainerd at the end of July for their Seasons Recomposed gathering and in early August with the Cabernet + Cabaret events.
Seasons Recomposed will be July 20th at 7:30pm with attendees tasting the four seasons, with complimentary themed desserts and craft mocktails sourced from local vendors. There will be an exclusive backstage tour of the state-of-the art venue and guests will be the first to hear Lakes Area Music Festival Orchestra, with Max Richeter’s Four Season Recomposed, in its new home with an 8:15pm performance.
Cabernet + Cabaret fundraiser will take place Thursday, August 5th at 7:30pm from the Dennis Drummond Wine Company in Brainerd/ Guests can sample fine wines, dress to the nines, and savor the sound of musical theater and American songbook classics. Soloists from the Metropolitan Opera and LAMF’s newly founded vocal fellowship will let their hair down, mingle with guests, and serenade you with their favorites.
Pre-paid tickets are required for Season Recomposed are $100 and Cabernet + Cabaret are $35, and all other LAMF events are free of charge but require registration. Tickets can be purchased on the Lakes Area Music Festival website or call 218-ASK-LAMF.
