BIG Day in Buxton! Family Fun Day is this Saturday

Buxton, ND — Are you ready for a BIG day in Buxton this Saturday? The Buxton Improvement Group will host their annual Family Fun Day, or BIG Day as it’s known locally, this Saturday, July 10^th. The event will kickoff with a 5K Family Walk Run at 10am, followed by a parade at 2pm and Car Show at 2:30pm. Buxton Improvement Group President Ben Hershey says they even got some brand new black top in town for the 5K and car show.

There will tons more family fun in the Buxton Park on Saturday afternoon as well, including bouncy houses. Volleyball, dodgeball, and even an egg-toss, according to Hershey.

Also on Saturday morning, Hershey invites community members to a presentation and dedication of the new American Flags at the city welcome signs.

And Heshey adds that he’s just very excited about the opportunity to celebrate and come together as families and a community again.
