Dellwood Drive Road Closure

UPDATE (7/26/21) —

Due to circumstances beyond the contractors control the Dellwood Drive Road Closure will be delayed for a couple of weeks. The City of Baxter will resend the official road closure notice when information is received from the contractor.

ORIGINAL RELEASE– (7/23/21)

Baxter, MN — Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, Dellwood Drive from the intersection of Universal Road to the intersection of Clearwater Road will be closed to thru traffic for construction. The construction work preventing the thru traffic will occur on Dellwood Drive in front of the proposed Blaze Pizza Development previously known as the Speedway gas station. The roadway is expected to be closed for one week. During this time thru traffic should utilize alternate routes.  The City of Baxter will send an official notice of the re-opening when construction is complete.

The purpose of this notice is to let you know of this work and to provide advance notice to emergency services to be aware of possible slow traffic or closed roadways. Please drive with caution when in a construction zone and expect traffic delays and detours during this construction phase.
