(Aitkin, MN) — As the summer continues to wind down, the work for Aitkin County Sheriff Dan Guida goes full-bore after our most recent conversation.

Sheriff Guida alluded to the recent smoke and haze coming from the Canadian wildfires and how it affects day-to-day life.

Water levels on the lakes and rivers continue to see downward trends with the warm temperatures and dry conditions.

Sheriff Guida also talked about upcoming events that will send out the Summer on a good note.

The Aitkin County Search & Rescue Group recently received the funds needed to purchase a new Polaris Sportsman side-by-side.
