No Mask Mandate for Ada-Borup-West

Ada, MN — The Ada-Borup-West School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday morning, August 10th. At the meeting there was lots of discussion regarding their safe learning plan with COVID-19 cases increasing again locally and the start of school under a month away. Ada-Borup-West Superintendent Aaron Cook says they will make adjustments to their plan as needed, but as of now masks will be encouraged, but not required.
Under the financial report, Superintendent Cook says they completed their audit recently and everything looks favorable.
And the new addition appears to be making excellent progress. Cook notes that will have an open house for the community on September 1st.
The Ada-Borup-West School will also hold their annual Back to School Business Luncheon on September 1st as well.
And the school board approved their annual lease agreements and handbooks, approved hiring Wendy Velsedal as a VPK teacher, approved a contract with Kenley Wahlin as Activities Director, and approved hiring Amy Johnson as an Assistant Volleyball Coach.
