Fertile-Beltrami School Board News & Notes
Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday night, August 10th. At the meeting, the board discussed their Safe Learning Plan for the upcoming school year. The district has a draft version of the plan, but will wait a few more weeks before officially adopting a plan. As of right now, Fertile-Beltrami School Superintendent Brian Clarke says masks are not mandated.
Another reason for waiting a few more weeks to adopt the Safe Learning Plan is that a lot can change in a short time when it comes to COVID-19, according to Superintendent Clarke.
Also at this week’s Fertile-Beltrami School Board meeting, the board accepting a pair of resignations, including a long-time paraprofessional and bookkeeper.
Clarke also invites families to attend their back-to-school open house on August 31st from 6-8pm.
