Fosston City Council August 9th, 2021 Meeting

Fosston City Council held their regular monthly meeting Monday, August 9th. They approved pay estimate number 2 from Hagen Construction for work completed on the end of Eaton Avenue North. Assistant City Administrator Cassie Heide explains that’s one of two different projects going on in this year’s street improvement project.

Also during this month’s meeting Fosston City Council approved advertising for a Community Resource Officer. The main objectives of the job would be performing zoning compliance work and general administration of local zoning and code ordinances.

Also approved by the council was an employment agreement with Director of Public Works David Larson for September 21, 2021 through August 31st, 2022.

The council approved 2022 financial support to East Polk Heritage Center amounting to $4000. and a variance permit for Paul and Lisa Rosendahl per a recommendation from the Planning Commission.
