Crosby City Council swears in Mayor Cash, Council member Traylor at August 23rd meeting

(Crosby, MN) — The Crosby City Council decided on grant applications and street improvement projects during their August 23rd regular meeting Monday night from the Crosby City Council Chambers.

The meeting began with the official swearing in of Mayor Diane Cash and Council member Jim Traylor. Mayor Cash did appoint replacements to her Committee Appointments.

City Administrator Matthew Hill spoke on resolutions for grants applications to IRRRB and Sourcewell to support the purchase of a Zamboni for the Hallett Center.

The IRRRB grant would cover up to $15,000 and the Sourcewell grant application would cover $10,000. Both resolutions were approved. Engineer Phil Martin did speak to the Council about the place for sidewalk improvements.

The Council did approve and accepted the costs and proposed assessed amount for the 2020 street improvement project. A public hearing will be coming September 27th during their regular Council meeting.

The Crosby City Council will next meet Monday, September 13th at 6pm.
