City of Mahnomen Looks for Creators for Artists on Main Street Program

Mahnomen, MN — The City of Mahnomen and the Gizhiigan Arts Incubator are encouraging locals, creatives, and makers of all types to consider being apart of their Artist on Main Street Program. Interim Mahnomen City Administrator Kari Kirschbaum says there are opportunities to showcase your work in the downtown area and be compensated as well through grants.

Arts and Culture will also be a focal point of this Saturday’s Mahnomen Wild Rice Day, which is a collaboration between the city, Gizhiigan Arts Incubator, Mahnomen Area Boosters, Mahnomen Tribal Community Council, and Headwaters Regional Development Commission. Kirshbaum provides a quick preview of the events scheduled for this weekend.
