Central Lakes Community Performing Arts announces Cultural Arts Series lineup

(Brainerd, MN) — The Central Lakes Community Performing Arts Center recently announced their upcoming season of events, the Cultural Arts Series.
The events for this iteration will include 5 large scale shows in the new Gichi-Ziibi Center for the Arts along with shows in the Chalberg Theatre on the Brainerd campus of Central Lakes College. There will also be smaller scaled events, the Dryden Cabaret Series, in the Dryden Theatre.
The Cultural Arts Series debuted on September 24th with the Fabulous Armadillos and their show “What’s Goin’ On?”. October 2nd will have the Tom Petty tribute group “Free Fallin” in the Chalberg Theatre and October 15th features the orchestral indie-rock group We Are The Willows in the Dryden Theatre.
ARENA Dances, the contemporary dance company, will be performing on November 12th in the Chalberg Theatre and Grammy Award winning a cappella Tonic Sol Fa will be in town for their “Shake Up Christmas Tour” on November 19th in the G-Z Center.
Rock ‘n Roll Christmas will return once again to Brainerd on December 17th in the G-Z Center, followed by Brat Pack Radio on January 7th on the Chalberg Stage, the Killer Vees with the “I Am…He Said” show on January 21st, and Monroe Crossing on February 26th.
Ring of Kerry will help with St Patrick’s Day celebrations on March 18th, Ventriloquist Todd Oliver will be in town on March 25th, as both shows will be in the Chalberg. April 1st will bring magician/illusionist Bill Blagg in the G-Z Center and the New Standards will perform their show “Score!” on April 8th.
The Dryden Cabaret Series will wrap up on May 6th with indie pop singer-songwriter Jeremy Messersmith before the season finishes with Zeppo on May 14th on the Chalberg stage.
