Aitkin Anglers Fish Fry Fundraiser coming up September 11th

(Aitkin, MN) — After a long spring and summer on the lakes, competing all over the Country, the Aitkin Anglers Fishing Team will be holding a Fish Fry Fundraiser Saturday, September 11th from the Aitkin American Legion.

We spoke with Aitkin Anglers coach Dan Borseth who mentioned that having 16 kids on the team, there are troubles with finding boat captains for the season.

The fishing team serves as a creative outlet that combines competition with a treasured pastime. 

The fundraiser this year will have a tasty full menu at the Legion.

The Anglers will also have a silent auction from fishing gear, to homemade delicacies, and sports memorabilia.

The proceeds from these events and all fundraising go right toward the Anglers and to keep their boats in the water.
