(Aitkin, MN) — Aitkin Public Schools began the process of updating their aging buildings while pushing ahead with the home stretch of the Capital Projects Levy in our most recent chat with Superintendent Dan Stifter.
Stifter did speak on the construction from over the summer and some furniture and equipment being implemented throughout the year.
More discussion on the Capital Projects Levy includes the regular operating budget for the District and addressing much needed improvements.
Stifter also reiterated that this Capital Projects Levy does NOT concern the current land situation.
With the start of the school year, students will be taken care of with school meals.
