The Castaways Sail to Ada to Perform at Fun in the Flatlands

Ada, MN — One of the top bands of the year 1965 will be rockin’ and rollin’ on the Tommy Roesch Memorial Free Stage this Saturday during the Fun in the Flatlands at the Norman County Fairgrounds in Ada. The Castaways will be performing a number of hits from 50s, 60s, and all eras of music, along with their hit song “Liar Liar,” which went number 1 on the charts, according to frontman Dennis Craswell.
While the Castways rise to worldwide fame was quick, and rather brief, Craswell says it afforded them the chance to play with a number of other legendary acts and venues, all while still being quite young at the time.
Originally out of the Twin Cities, the Castaways currently reside in the Detroit Lakes area. They’ll take the stage from 5-8pm on Saturday night during the Community meal at the fairgrounds.
