Hillsboro School Board News & Notes
Hillsboro, ND — The Hillsboro School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, September 9th. At the meeting the board held their public hearing for their proposed 2021-2022 budget. Hillsboro School Superintendent Paula Suda says they will be keeping their mil levy at the same for next year, and as expected their was no public objection on the proposal.
From a facility planning standpoint, Superintendent Suda says it’s been pretty quiet as they continue to do more research.
And Suda provided an update on the first few weeks of school. She says everything is going well and so far they are keeping COVID out of the building.
In other news from last week’s meeting, the Hillsboro School Board approved the annual compliance report, accepted two open enrollments, and hired a part-time night custodian and business manager assistant.
