McIntosh Harvest Festival

Celebrate the beautiful fall season at the McIntosh Harvest Festival this Saturday, September 18th. It begins with the McIntosh Senior Living 5K at 9:00 am and continues with food, games, vendors and activities for all ages throughout the day. New this year is a home run derby. There’s also a pie eating contest with a twist, a pumpkin dessert bake-off. Katie Roed tells us more about the McIntosh harvest festival.

This year bakers are invited to enter the pumpkin dessert contest with any recipe of their choosing as long as it contains pumpkin. Last year during the Harvest Festival they had a apple dessert contest and bakers came up with some interesting concoctions.

The pie eating contest will be a little different this year as Katie Roed explains.
