DEED opens Main Street COVID Relief Grant Program to celebrate Small Business Week

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development is celebrating Small Business Week with a new grant program, the Main Street COVID Relief Grants Program.
According to a release from DEED, a total of $64.2 million are available in grants for Minnesotan-owned businesses that can demonstrate financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Military service, sex, age, race, number of employees, and other factors will be taken in priority during the selection process. Funding will be split 50/50 between the Twin Cities metro area and Greater Minnesota.
Applications will be accepted starting Monday, September 20th with an informational session taking place on the 20th at 10am. A link for more information and application for the Main Street COVID Relief Grant Program is available with this story.
