September 22, 2021 Farm News News -- KRJB-KRJM-KKCQ 0

Crookston, MN — Progress continues to be made on the Ag Innovation Campus and crush facility in Crookston. Tom Slunecka, CEO of the Minnesota Soybean Research Promotion Council, provided an update during the Farm and Field Program last Wednesday. While they broke ground on the facility last October, actual construction didn’t begin until this past August. Slunecka says dirt work is wrapping up for the season soon and over the winter they’ll be busy with the business side of developing and this facility.

Once completed, the Ag Innovation Campus will serve as incubator for agricultural innovations with a goal to foster new and novel products, create jobs, and increase the value of agriculture. Slunecka says this facility will have a major impact on the ag in our region.
