Hendrum Fire & Rescue Hosting 23rd Annual Steak Fry Fun Night this Saturday

Hendrum, MN — For the first time since 2019, the Hendrum Fire & Rescue Steak Supper and Fun Night is back this Saturday, September 25th. Normally held in the spring, the 2020 event was continuously put on hold until regulations related to COVID-19 finally allowed it to occur this weekend. The Steak Night, which has been taking place for more than two decades, is a big fundraiser for the local fire and rescue department, according to Hendrum Fire Chief Mike Smart.
Historically the event has always been held at the Hendrum Fire Hall. This year, however, Smart says it will be held at the former Elementary school gym.
Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door, which includes the meal, open bar, and a chance at winning cash prizes. In addition to that, there are numerous other games and raffles prizes up for grabs throughout the night.
Social hour for this Saturday’s Steak Supper and Fun Night begins at 6:30pm and the steak supper will be ready by 7:30pm. Tickets are available at local businesses in Hendrum, Perley, and Halstad and through Hendrum Fire & Rescue Members. Listen to the full interview with Mike Smart below:
